Testing for dyschromatopsia requires a high level of sensitivity and specificity.

This series of tables allows us to detect color blindness in people who cannot read and anomalies in color perception from a very young age.
The tables are studied with simple geometric shapes, as the person examined may not be able to understand complicated shapes.

The test provides a rapid and accurate assessment of any congenital dyschromatopsia.

In most cases the anomaly in color perception consists in the lack of red-green distinction, which can be of two types:
- protan, absolute (protanopia) or partial (protanomaly)
- deutano, absolute (deuteranopia) or partial (deuteranomaly)
