Economical and precise caliper for professional use.

It measures the thickness of the skin folds in various areas of the body, according to the characteristics created by Tanner and Whitehouse:
- pressure exerted on the skin fold: approximately 10 g/mm2
- contact surface on the fold: approximately 6x11 mm

This tool gives an exact evaluation of the nutritional status of the subject under examination and how his adipose tissue is distributed sectorally.

The user lifts a fold of skin between his fingers to measure its thickness (max opening 4 cm) with the instrument's calipers: on the upper edge there is a scale in millimeters on which an arrow moves which immediately measures the fold (tricipital, subscapularis, etc.) with an approximation of approximately ± 2 mm.

The colored bands inserted near the scale allow you to compare the value detected with the separate reference percentiles for men and women.
