OMRON BF511 provides comprehensive body composition measurement, with clinical accuracy; it is classified and validated as a medical device, also suitable for children.

It offers a comprehensive readout of body and visceral fat, skeletal muscle level, BMI and basal metabolic rate. The measurement is done via 8 sensors placed on the hands and feet to ensure comprehensive results.

It works thanks to the bioelectrical impedance method (BIA); fat is shown as a percentage of total body weight.
