Defibtech Lifeline battery life approx. 7 years

Defibtech Lifeline Extended Life Battery Type DCF-210 Battery unit for the Defibtech Lifeline. The battery has a life of approximately 7 years in standby mode (placed in the defibrillator), 300 shocks, or 16 hours of use, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly self-tests. A 9V battery is supplied with this battery. This is integrated into the larger battery. The defibrillator uses this small 9V battery for self-diagnosis, thus avoiding draining the larger, more expensive battery. The 9V lithium battery is available separately and must be replaced annually. After replacing the battery, the defibrillator initiates a self-diagnosis.
