Truwax is a sterile bone wax used during surgical operations to monitor and plug fluid leaks from the surface of the bone, acting as a mechanical barrier and providing a hemostatic function that blocks the pores and channels of the injured or damaged bone.
Made from a sterile mixture of beeswax, paraffin and isopropyl palmitate. The materials offer excellent malleability.
